Mebiso Helps Register Brands for People with Mental Disorders Survivor Products

In April 2024, IMHCTC organized an overseas teaching workshop at Radjiman Wedyodiningrat Hospital, MOH in Indonesia from April 20 to April 27.

A total of 60 mental health professionals participated, including clinical psychologists, health promoters, nurses, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, and social workers.

They came from 29 hospitals, university medical departments, and NGOs in Indonesia, including participants from Thailand and Cambodia who had received training in Taiwan in 2023.

Speakers from Kaohsiung Municipal Kai-Syuan Hospital and Taipei Veterans General Hospital Yuli Branch were invited to teach participants about topics related to mental health rehabilitation in Taiwan, long-term care facilities in Taiwan, forensic mental health, and dementia care.

The interaction between attendees and speakers was enthusiastic, with positive feedback such as "I learned additional knowledge needed in my work, especially in community-based settings, which can also be accomplished by hospitals," "I feel this training has indeed increased my insights, especially from different perspectives," "I have learned a lot of new things this time, especially about family therapy, occupational therapy, dementia, forensic medicine, and other topics, which was very helpful to learn with experienced speakers in their respective fields.

The results of this training have become new knowledge that I can apply in my workplace," "All the courses have truly broadened my horizons, showing me how to help my patients and the broader content that our country currently lacks.

I hope we can quickly apply the knowledge we have learned here." IMHCTC's speakers also gained a better understanding of the local country's work situations through this teaching activity and provided appropriate solutions or initiatives.
